Originally from the Wirral, I joined the Orange Tree straight after graduating from Leeds, in 1985. I have a special interest in implant dentistry and have undertaken many courses in the UK and abroad to further my knowledge and training.

Outside work, I am married to Terry. We share an interest in horses and keep
several at home. I am also a keen runner, and have recently taken up triathlon.
I am registered with the Association of Dental Implantology UK and the British Society of Occlusal Studies.

Dr Tim Quarmby BChD Hons MJDF RCS (Eng) (UK) GDC 83422

I am delighted to have followed in my father’s footsteps in my role as a partner at the Orange Tree.

I graduated with honours from the University of Leeds in 2004 and spent the first 5 years of my career in Pickering and Ripon before returning to my roots to join the practice in 2010. I am married to Rebecca, whom I met during my years at university. Together we have 2 children, both of whom keep me fit and in check!

I am a past-President of the York BDA branch and in 2011 I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons by completing the Diploma in Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties.

Away from the Practice I enjoy my role as a Practice Advisor on behalf of Denplan. I also like hiking, coaching the local mini-rugby team and spending time with my family.

I grew up in Holme on Spalding Moor and went to Market Weighton Secondary School. After graduating from Leeds Dental School in 2007, I

moved back to the area and spent 8 years working as a General Dental Practitioner in Selby.

I was elected onto the North Yorkshire Local Dental Committee in 2010 and spent 3 years in this role. In 2013 I became Secretary of the BDA York Section followed by 2 years as a GDP Representative.

I met my husband Dom, who is also a Dentist, at University and we have two young daughters. In my spare time I enjoy family holidays and days out, Zumba, swimming, walking, cooking and I’m a fan of Formula 1 racing.

BDS 2016 Birmingham

As one of the newest members to Orange Tree Dental I have been kindly welcomed into a wonderful team. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2016 and have since worked in Beverley general practice, Hull Royal maxillofacial surgery and I have also spent time working in paediatrics which is a special interest of mine. I grew up in Driffield and have loved returning to my roots. In October 2018 I volunteered in Tanzania with a charity that provides emergency dental treatment. Although hard work, I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity and hope to do it again at some point. I gained my Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in 2018. In my spare time I enjoy running including taking part in the Great North Run.
