I am delighted to have followed in my father’s footsteps in my role as a partner at the Orange Tree.
I graduated with honours from the University of Leeds in 2004 and spent the first 5 years of my career working across North Yorkshire, before returning to my roots to join the practice in 2010. I am married to Rebecca, whom I met during my years at university. Together we have 2 children, both of whom keep me fit and in check!
I am a past-President of the York BDA branch and in 2011 I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons by completing the Diploma in Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties. In 2021 I gained membership to the College of General Dentistry and have been Denplan Excel accredited since 2010.
Away from the practice I am a Denplan Advisor which involves inspecting and assisting other Denplan practices. I enjoy hiking, watching movies and spending time with my family. I’ve also enjoyed coaching Driffield junior rugby and now act as taxi to my children’s various hockey matches around Yorkshire!
I grew up in Anglesey, North Wales and met Tim during my studies at Leeds Dental Institute from where I also graduated in 2004.
Since graduating I have worked in Ripon but I recently joined my husband and the rest of the team as the third partner at the Orange Tree. I took over my father-in-law’s list on his retirement in June 2012.
In 2011 I became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons by completing the Diploma in Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties. This was followed in 2021 by becoming a Member of the College of General Dentistry.
I grew up in Holme on Spalding Moor and went to Market Weighton Secondary School. After graduating from Leeds Dental School in 2007, I
moved back to the area and spent 8 years working as a General Dental Practitioner in Selby.
I was elected onto the North Yorkshire Local Dental Committee in 2010 and spent 3 years in this role. In 2013 I became Secretary of the BDA York Section followed by 2 years as a GDP Representative.
I met my husband Dom, who is also a dentist, at University and we have two young daughters. In my spare time I enjoy family holidays and days out, Zumba, swimming, walking, cooking and I’m a fan of Formula 1 racing.
Originally from West Yorkshire, I graduated from Leeds (a popular theme at the practice) in 2007. I then completed my dental foundation training in Ripon, working alongside our practice principals Dr Rebecca Quarmby and Dr Tim Quarmby. I moved to Market Weighton in 2008 and have since worked as a general dental practitioner in South Cave and Selby. When working in Selby, I combined my general dental practice role with working as a Dental Foundation Trainer, mentoring & training a newly qualified dentist in their first year following graduation to aid their development in general practice. I now work in Beverley, in addition to working alongside my wife Dr Charlotte Oxford at Orange Tree Dental. We have two daughters who keep us very busy! Away from from work I enjoy keeping fit and particularly enjoy hiking in the Scottish Highlands where we have frequent holidays. I love Formula 1 and football, and support Lewis Hamilton and Manchester Utd.
I am proud to call Driffield my hometown and am delighted to come full circle back to my roots to practise here at Orange Tree Dental. I graduated with Distinction from the University of Leeds before moving to the North-East to complete my Foundation year. Through my journey in dentistry I have developed a passion for restorative dentistry, in which artistry meets science to create beautiful, healthy smiles. Beyond the dental chair, you will find me pursuing various hobbies. Photography lets me capture the beauty of the world, while hiking and running allow me to challenge myself physically. Though when I’m not on the trails or behind the camera, you’ll likely find me in the kitchen, baking up a storm for friends and family. I am excited to be back in Driffield and look forward to getting to know you better as we work together to optimise your dental health and smile.
